What does the Website SEO Checker look at?
This tool fetches the live HTML of the URL you submit and inspects the same signals search engine crawlers read on first pass: your title tag and its length, meta description, H1 structure, canonical URL, viewport meta tag, image alt attributes, HTTPS usage, structured data, Open Graph tags, robots directives and approximate content length.
How is the score calculated?
Each check is weighted equally and marked as pass, warning or fail. The score is simply the percentage of checks that passed cleanly — use it as a quick health signal, not a substitute for a full technical audit.
Does this tool store the URLs I check?
No. The page is fetched, analyzed in memory, and the result is rendered back to you — nothing is saved server-side.
Why did a valid site fail the HTTPS check?
If you entered a URL without a scheme, we default to https://. If your site only serves HTTP, that check will correctly fail — moving to HTTPS is a well-established ranking and trust signal.
